A Practice Rooted in Adaptive Re-Use Practices
Just as Naumann Architektur and FNP Architekten did in their 2004 S(ch)austall am Eiswoog 2004 project, this unit was rooted in the exploration of adaptive re-use architectural techniques in the context of an urban metropolis such as London.
Working on a team made up of furniture designers, graphic designers and interior designers, this project speculates on ways to re-purpose empty train carriages and deserted train stations, specifically installing restaurant pop-ups working with the local community.
